The First Session of the Fourth Conference of National Measuring Tools Standards Committee was held in Chengdu a few days ago. On this conference, the council has illustrated the scheduel of the general election and its components, revising the constitution of the National Measuring Tools Standards Committee and finally unanimously approving the new regulation. Confronted new situation, the new director of the National Measuring Tools Standards Committee and Instrument Reseach in Chengdu, Luzhou Wang, has made clear to be very confident to push the career of the committee to a new stage, hence making contribution to it.
On the conference, the committee was devided into three groups to investigate the 11 National and Professional reviews of the Involute Master of Gear, which should be finished this year. And finally, it comes to a consensus on this matter. Besides, the deputies also re-investigated the 23 national standards and 35 professional standards, which were carried out in 2003 and 2004, and arrived at the same retrial conclusion.
