Yes thank you we did receive the gauge. We are using is to measure the depth of corks in a wine bottle.

Yes I have the calipers you supplied and use them all the time to make small wooden boxes. It is important to know the depth of the lid and base because that tells me the thickness of the wood, and the risk of making the boxes too thin. Best Wishes
